If you were tuning in one PlayStations' State of Play last week then you for sure saw the new Tekken 8 trailer, and what a trailer it was. Let's start with the fact that it looks amazing. This game has been created from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 and you can clearly see the difference in graphics and fidelity. The water droplets as they fall off Jin's head are so beautiful and realistic.

The background animations are also top-notch and really add to the immersion. It's unclear if the footage we saw were from the gameplay itself or a cutscene, but the way the camera moves and pans around as the characters pull off some amazing moves is really impressive. I can't wait for the full game and I hope they keep most of the elements we saw in the trailer. There's no official release date yet, but we'll be sure to keep you updated on that.
