According to recent reports, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat as a range of exciting new games are set to become available throughout the first half of May. Among the latest releases are Redfall, an open-world first-person shooter that is available on cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S today. The game sees players taking on a legion of vampires who have overrun the island of Redfall, which is cut off from the outside world. Redfall is also available on day one with Game Pass and will come with five brand new custom controllers from the Xbox Design Lab.
Another title available on day one with Game Pass is Ravenlok, an action-packed fairy tale adventure that will be available on cloud, console, and PC from May 4. Players will enter a mystical mirror into a lost land of terrifying monsters and a malevolent queen and must wield their swords, unleash their spells, and fight their way through beastly bosses in lush, handcrafted environments.
Weird West: Definitive Edition, which will be available on Xbox Series X|S from May 8, will see players unveil the mysteries of the Weird West through the intertwined destinies of its unusual heroes in an action RPG. From the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey, the game is set in a dark fantasy reimagining of the Wild West where lawmen and gunslingers share the frontier with fantastical creatures.
Also set to arrive on May 11 is Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, the turn-based RPG that follows on from the captivating tale of Fuga: Melodies of Steel. The sequel features a ramped-up battle system for more strategy, as well as a brand-new event system that gives players more thrilling choices to affect their experience. Like Redfall and Ravenlok, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 will be available on day one with Game Pass.
In addition to these new releases, a number of games are also set to receive updates, including Grounded and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can also claim a Madden NFL 23: EA Play Ultimate Team Pack from May 2 to June 5, while a new round of Game Pass Quests will launch every Tuesday in May.
However, subscribers should also be aware that some games will be leaving the service on May 15, including Before We Leave, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, Hearts of Iron IV, Her Story, and Umurangi Generation: Special Edition. Members are encouraged to use their membership discount to save up to 20% on their purchases if they wish to keep these games in their library.
