Team Ninja who is best known for crafting great games such as Ninja Gaiden and Niho to name a few is at it again with Wo long: Fallen Dynasty which is scheduled for early 2023 release. This souls-like action RPG is one of the latest games to come from the team and is set in the later period of the Han Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms. The game will feature a custom character creator and a game system where the player gains Qi which is energy that can be stored to be used to unleash powerful attacks, the ability to gain strength by raising their "morale rank", which is the leveling up system featured in the game. Enemies are also said to have this rank and by defeating an enemy with a higher rank than yours, your character levels up faster and has the potential to obtain more valuable items from fallen enemies.
Recently, the developers debuted a new gameplay demo that gives us a sneak peek of what to expect in the game. The demo is also currently available on Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5. Take a look.
